We’re thrilled to announce a new 3 year partnership with Trakm8, a leading telematics and data insight provider.
This collaboration aims to enhance the monitoring of vehicle health and tracking of vehicle mileage for our extensive fleet of dual-controlled vehicles supplied to driving instructors and their schools across the UK.
Following an unsatisfactory trial with a previous telematics provider, we sought a more comprehensive solution and turned to Trakm8. The module includes accurate odometer readings directly from vehicle dashboards and proactive vehicle health monitoring.
This partnership addresses key requirements for us:
Accurate Mileage Tracking: True odometer readings provide precise data, enabling us to monitor servicing needs and manage mileage effectively throughout the lease term.
Vehicle Health Monitoring: Trakm8’s solution offers valuable diagnostic data, allowing us to maintain vehicle health, prevent costly downtime for both us and our customers.
As some of our customers know, manufacturers are getting stricter with missed service intervals and are declining warranty work because of the non adherence to their policies, even for known faults.
To combat this, we are going to be sending new lease customers service reminders, based off the accurate mileage on their vehicles, and we will have access to any fault codes the vehicles computer detects, which will help us to proactively let customers know if something will snowball into a worse problem.
